Broders Pasta Bar Minneapolis

Food Blog,
I wasn't that impressed with Broders. All food critics in
Minnesota pretty much suck. Service was fine, hospitality... Big fat
Zero. In fact there is more hospitality a tapplebees then Broders. Just because they made their own pasta we are suppose to ogle and drool. It was ok pasta, nothing to write home about that's for sure. I made better pasta at home with my lidia bastianich
book in one hand and a rolling pin in the other. I could tell from the
get go that the pasta water was not properly salted. The host/front end manager? was an asshole. seriously an asshole. I guess you have to be 60 and from edina
to get treated with hospitality. No one would even offer me a drink
while i was waiting 1 hour for our table. Pretty shitty if you ask me.
For a place that prides itself on service the host was a big let down.
I felt like they wanted me to leave. After working with Cuisine Concept
and Michelle Nicholson, as a professional in the industry I can say
they are disappointing. They need to take a visit to Kafe 421 and see visit Georgia to see what hospitality is all about. I don't think they get it Broders
. If you want to be exclusive, hard to get into restaurant, your hospitality will get you there, Nota stuck up ass hole front end manager. In most places, that just puts your business on the fast track to failure. Lukily we are in Minnesota, where no one
expects much, and always thinks the best of other people. It is both our curse and our blessing. I think it is
our low self esteem, most likely from the cold weather, but we need to
wake up and expect more from our local restaurants. AND they wonder why
people would rather go to the macaroni grill. WHEN WILL THEY GET IT!!
and fuck you city pages, you capitalist whore.....

oh dear there is snow

so yesterday we had the biggest snow storm of the season, it was spectacular. I do think when it was all said and done that we may have gotten nearly a foot of snow. That is alot considering we havent really had any snow in two months.
I volunteered at my friends clinic yesterday, which means i had to venture out into the snow. Things were alreight by 11 when i left my aprtment, but my roomate said it took her nearly 2 hours to travel 30 blocks on the bus. I think that might be the slowest ever.
Sunday was selection sunday for the NCAA tournament. I have been following kentucky these past few months, mainly becuase i am dating someone who is in love with kentucky, andwell i have always enjoyed sports and like cheering for teams. The truth is kentucks isnt very good, they dont play well at all. but they do have some talent, which means they occasionally win some games. this winning gives some fans hope, like my boyfriend. but what i dont want to tell him is that untill kentucky gets both a new coach and some discipline they are not going to win. Tubby Smith goes about disciplining his team in ways that have proven rather uneffective. What he needs to do is hit them with a stick when they refuse to play as a team. Also they dont boxout, rebound, they dribble to much, they rarely penetrate and pass, if they do penetrate they take bad shots or turnover the ball, they also love the shot three pointers instead of nice 8 or 9 foot shots. this team needs a good asskicking from the coach.

Disagreements

I have always thought disagreement to be obnoxious and slightly annoying. However, after listening last night to the feud between two speed skaters I have decided that disagreement are infact the most important components of human relationships. It is of course inevitable that we disagree about things, so when then is it so surprising when it happens. My goal for the moment, is to allow myself to engage in disagreements freely. This may prove to be foolish in the end. But in my opinion, practice makes perfect. How can I be a good disagree-er without practice. So watch out everyone. I might be disagreeing with just about anything you say. Please dont take it personally, I am merely trying to perfect the art of human relationships in order to better this world. Its true, i care about the world. On a more personal note, I now have a boyfriend.
